Thank you for considering taking part in Art House 2027.

These terms and conditions relate to your participation in Art House 2027. By applying, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions throughout the selection process, installation, and de-installation of the event. Please read carefully before applying.

Event dates: Friday 11 – Sunday 13 June 2027.

  1. Eligibility

1.1. Applicants must be aged 18 or over.
1.2. Entrants must have a connection to Leicestershire or Rutland.

  1. Entry

2.1. Applications are open 11th October – 13th December via online form.
Late entries will not be accepted.

You will need:

    • Internet access
    • A valid email address
    • A CV or statement to tell us about you
    • Images to showcase your practice (suggested 3-5 images)


2.2. Submit early to avoid technical issues.
2.3 All artists wishing to take part in the 2027 event must apply, regardless of previous participation.
2.4. Artworks must be appropriate for a family audience.

  1. Acceptance Fee

3.1. Successful applicants will be required to pay a non-refundable exhibiting fee of £55.00. This fee contributes to organising costs including but not limited to printing, advertising and event insurance.
3.2. Fees must be paid to confirm participation. 

  1. Commission

4.1. Art House does not take any commission on artist sales.

  1. Selection Process

5.1. Selection will take place through January and February 2027.
5.2. The selection committee includes artists, designers and Art House home owners.
5.3. Applicants are considered in the context of the available venues.
5.4. Applicants will be informed of outcomes via email during early February.
5.5. Decisions by the committee are final and feedback cannot be provided.

  1. Installation and Display

6.1. Selected artists must be available for installation of artwork on a date agreed with individual house groups prior to opening on the Friday evening.
6.2. Art work must be labelled in accordance with Art House guidelines.
6.3. Art House aims to show work within a home setting. The display of work will be in-keeping with a home-gallery context and not a conventional market selling environment.
6.4. The process of displaying the work will be a collaborative one between artists and the home owner or art house representative within each allocated house.

  1.  Insurance

7.1. Art House is not liable for loss or damage. Artists should insure their work if required.

  1. Sold Artworks

8.1. Artists are responsible for sales of their own art work during the event.

  1. Publicity

9.1. By submitting, artists give permission for their name and artwork images to be used for promotional purposes, including print, web, and social media.

  1. Breach of Terms

10.1. Breach of any terms may result in disqualification from the Art House 2027 and future events.

  1. Data Protection Policy

11.1. Any personal data that you provide will be processed in accordance with current data protection laws.
11.2. By completion and submission of the entry form, you provide consent for Art House to collect your information.

11.3. The personal details provided will be used to contact you regarding your submission and if successful in the administration of the event.
